View Full Version : Video Game Soundtrack - Thoughts?

I'm working on a game design project with some guys at my high school and I'm in charge of the sound. This will be the soundtrack for the first level (or the whole game if I never get around to making others). The game will be a parkour runner with a Tron-ish aesthetic. Would appreciate some feedback, esp. on the ending. I'm still working on the end, but what's there now is roughly what I have planned for it. Thanks!

The Music is fine but the mix is way to muddy. There is way to much bass and the different elements have not been given their own space in the mix and this will always cause mud. We have great tutorials here that can help you this.

Yeah, I hear what you're talking about, so I'll look around the tutorials. Thanks!

So I tweaked the EQ of each track to try to fit each instrument into its own range. It sounds clearer to me, but I don't have a super well-trained ear for this stuff (this is my first real project in reason). I really appreciate the feedback.
