    Mastering Template?

Does anybody have a mastering chain template? I'm looking for one to try out. I'm running Reason 7

I do actually. Dunno if the one on the site is up to date, but its functional (made some changes recently to the patch and the website).

I think the only RE in that version is peff's "Rack devider" i believe it's still free

otherwise you should be able to open it without?

    Nice.

Its a lovely simple Re though, quite handy for clearing you rack up.

If you need some explenation on the workflow of the patch, give me a heads up. I was still planning to write a guide line going with the download. So it'll push me on doing so if you need one.

But basically, you start by disabling the last maximizer, 4 band compression and mid side processing bit. Eq the track first, check its balance and search for resonanct frequencies i.e. clearin it up if needed.

Then proceed to the mid-side if you like and then head into the multiband compression section.
Every band has solo and mute function on that 6:2 mixer for easy checkings. Band cuts are done with the stereo imagers, so tweak their frequencies to your liking (start by soloing the low end first and then solo youre way trough to the 4th band to find the frequency splits -> when youve found them, then start compressing)

And lastely, use the maximizer to max out the volume. Be sure that your mix isnt to hot, an input of -4db - -6db into the chain outta do it
