look promising indeed. I find the new experimenting in terms of new types of input devices awesome in general by the way, for instance that ball shaped padded thingy.
But i think it'll need its own programming to fully integrate with various software like nektar does.

I agree. But they could develop some user friendly GUI where you can set the capturing regions, their sensitivity etc. Pad layers could be printed on 3D printer (as they show in the video).

Very true but still, I don't think that is on pheads side. But they have this extended control surfaces coding already right? From what I've heard nectar has been the only one who had fully put it to use. In that case, the future looks real promising.
